Education plays a key role in the overall development of the society. The true goal of education transcends much beyond just awarding degree and certificate to the students. The ultimate goal of education is the discovery of the meaning of life and the fulfilment of life and all mankind as well as for oneself.
Striving for a vibrant and dynamic academic atmosphere is a wholesome and holistic Exercise. It necessitates an innovation ecosystem to hone the skills of students in diverse programs to mould them to become notable change-makers of the society. The aim is to make learning an enriching, fulfilling, and enjoyable experience through a multidisciplinary approach, combining theory and practice in pedagogy.
Every day is a new beginning and we discover a new world of experience and learning. It is true we learn a lot in college, we study diverse subjects, languages, and co-curricular activities. A good institution is one that provides those opportunities to students in which what is potential in them becomes explicit and this process of creativity goes on till our students represent our college on the global map.

D S Govt. Degree College for Women started its journey in the year 1984 with the aim of providing education to girls and empowering them, so that they can be financially independent, socially conscious, morally upright and emotionally balanced. I firmly believe that our institution is more than just a place to learn. It gives you a chance to grow by equipping with everything you need to achieve excellence. This college is endowed with progressive futuristic outlook aims continual growth in the quality of all academic activities with a sense of commitment to fully meet the expectations of the students, parents and society at large.
In order to accomplish our mission, we are prepared to take as much effort as possible for the betterment of academic scenario of this college. Our teachers strive to teach not only academic programmes but also life skills needed for students’ self-development.
